Rules and Regulations:-
● Individual Event: The competition is for single participants only. Each participant will present their topic individually.
● Choice of Topic: Participants are free to choose any technically relevant topic based on their interest. Topics should be related to fields such as science, engineering, technology, or any other relevant discipline.
● Abstract Submission: Participants must submit abstracts of their presentations to the review panel at least one week before the competition. Abstracts will be reviewed for relevance and suitability.
● Abstract Sorting: The first stage of sorting will be based on the submitted abstracts. This process helps ensure that presentations align with the competition's objectives and criteria.
● Presentation Format: Participants are required to create PowerPoint presentations consisting of a minimum of 10 slides. Presentations should effectively convey the content of the topic chosen by the participant.
● Time Limit: Each participant will have a time range of 6-8 minutes to deliver their
presentation. Time management is crucial, and participants must adhere to the allocated time frame.
● Evaluation Criteria:
Presentations will be evaluated based on several factors, including:
- Content: Depth of knowledge, clarity of information, relevance to the topic.
- Delivery: Presentation skills, clarity of speech, confidence.
- Slides: Quality of slides, visual aids, effectiveness in supporting the presentation.
- Time Management: Ability to stay within the allotted time frame.
- Audience Engagement: Interaction with the audience, handling of Q&A session.
- Overall Impact: The overall impression and effectiveness of the presentation.
