Rules and Regulations:-
● Only team entries are allowed.
● The participants will not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic gadgets during the quiz.
● The questions shall be in the form of multiple choices, true / false statement, specific-one word answer, visual and the like.
● The decision of the quizmaster will be final and will not be subject to any change.
QUALIFYING ROUND:-(In case more than 10 teams registered)
● Each team would be given a set of question papers containing 20 objective type questions.
● Time limit will be 20 minutes (1 minute for each question) for the entire session.
● 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
● The selected teams shall have to appear for the on-stage round for which the venue and time will be informed during the qualifying round.
● 10 teams with the highest score will be selected for the STAGE ROUNDS.
STAGE ROUNDS:-
Round 1:
General Round- A Round with three questions.
● Each team would be asked 3 questions each (Objective questions with options).
● 10 marks will be awarded for a correct answer at the first chance.
● 5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
● Answering time per question is only 15 seconds.
● If a team cannot answer a question, it can be passed and the first team to hoist the pluck card will get a chance to answer and if answered correctly 5 marks will be awarded to the team or else 2 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.
● Discussion within the team is allowed.
● 6 teams with the highest score will be selected for the Visual Round.
Round 2:
Visual Round- An image/logo will be projected on the screen and questions related to the image/logo will be posed to the teams. This Visual round will consist of three rounds with each team getting one image per round.
● 10 marks will be awarded for each correct answer while wrong answers will lead to a deduction of 5 marks each.
● Answering time is limited to 10 seconds per question.
● No passing is allowed to the next team. (Audience can answer subjected to Quiz master’s request.)
● 4 teams with highest score will be selected for the Rapid-Fire Round
Round 3: Rapid Fire Round- Each team will have to answer 10 questions at a stretch with a time limit of 90 seconds (1 and a half minutes)
● Team can answer maximum number of questions within 90 seconds ( 1 and a half minutes)
● If a team cannot answer the question, they can pass for the next question till they finish all ten questions.
● The team can select any one member from the team to answer. He/she can get help from the partner.
● 10 marks will be awarded for each correct answer while 5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
